My name is Miss Megan, and I invite you to join me on this grand adventure! Our daycare is situated on our 1/3 acre permaculture "food forest" urban homestead. What does that mean? It means that our property is alive and abundant with food and plants! We have fruit trees, grow vegetables and delicious berries, beautiful native flowers to attract and support pollinators, and take care to build a healthy ecosystem in our area.

 

This also means we have amazing opportunities at our fingertips! Nature's classroom provides us with a wealth of knowledge! From watching plants grow from seedlings to delicious treats, to exploring how bees and butterflies pollinate and care for all the fruits and veggies we grow, to harvesting and making delicious snacks with what we have grown, to scavenger hunts, and simply enjoying lots of time outdoors! The wonder and curiosity of our little friends guide our day to day learning and we explore and investigate based on what is engaging them!

Daycare Hours:

Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm

​

Nature-based childcare for children ages 3 months - 5 years year round in a small family setting. With a maximum of 6 children in my care, you can be sure your child will receive quality care, along with the ability to interact with other children in several age groups, giving them the opportunity to practice teaching younger children as well as learning from others.
