Kids learn so many ways!
Children are amazing little people who learn in multitude of different ways, and it is my honor and joy to create an environment for them!
I am a nature-based daycare, and I also draw inspiration from Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Wonder-based learning. We learn both through play and exploration, imagination and role-play, as well as arts and crafts.

We spend time outside twice a day, weather permitting, in the morning and afternoon. Not only do the children play and explore, but they also enjoy helping around the gardens- from planting seeds, to care and maintenance like watering and weeding, to harvesting the fruits and veggies they helped grow! They love taking the time to check all the garden spaces to see what has changed from the day before, if there are any new veggies to pick for snack time, and especially love to admire the pretty flowers!

We also have "class pets" throughout the growing season, raising and releasing butterflies to help pollinate our gardens! We raised ladybugs this year too! We have a small flock of chickens and quail who provide us with delicious fresh eggs daily! The kids love to feed them food scraps from our meals and snacks to help supplement their diets!
Our daycare hours are Monday-Friday, 8AM- 5PM. Healthy morning and afternoon snacks and a healthy lunch are provided, and we incorporate fresh produce from the gardens into our weekly menu whenever possible!
