This September, our preschool curriculum is set to weave a tapestry of learning and discovery, embracing themes that resonate with the natural world and inner self. We'll embark on explorations of mushrooms and the moon, and delve into the magic inside ourselves and the enchanting world around us. The letter M and S will be introduced through creative activities and connected to themes such as the 'moon' and 'seasons.' Children will engage with shapes through tactile exercises, and practice counting in hands-on ways. Special attention will be given to the Harvest Moon, symbolizing the turn of seasons, and activities will be designed to foster understanding of ourselves, our bodies, and our senses.

October:
Welcome to the enchanting month of October in the Welcoming Wonder Preschool Curriculum! This month, we transport our little learners into the vibrant tapestry of autumn, guided by our core themes of fall, apples, pumpkins, scarecrows, fall seeds, and spiderwebs. Alongside these captivating subjects, the letters Ff and Pp will serve as our alphabetic beacons. With activities like scarecrow crafts, apple-picking, and sensory spiderweb explorations, we aim to engage each child's full range of senses. For number we will be learning about the qualities of numbers 1 and 2. Our affirmations, "I am healthy and strong," and "I am beautiful," serve as empowering echoes throughout our journey, nurturing each child's self-esteem and sense of self-worth.It promises to be a month filled with awe, wonder, and the rich, layered learning that comes from fully experiencing the world in which we live.
